I have had several large jobs done by Bryan Pratt. The first, a room addition (sun room) was completed a couple of years ago... from a back poarch to a sun room with windows all around and a sky light. It is great, I love it
Next, a bathroom remodel which included removal of a bathtub and installation of a walk in shower-tile, new toilet, sink, floor, enlarged window and interior door to bath and closet. A beautiful job
All windows and interior doors were replaced next
And finally, the kitchen, living room and laundry room were completely remodeled and redesigned. Included removal of a wall between the living room and kitchen. Entry door to living room moved and replaced with sliding glass doors. Walls have been taped and textured. Kitchen expanded with new cherry cabinets and all new appliances... it looks like a completely different house.
All of these projects completed over the last couple of years... I can't say enough good things about Bryan, I am very happy with his work, he is a perfectionist when it comes to the finished project... and his prices are very reasonable,
I wish to express my appreciation to Bryan for planning and building my dream kitchen. The attention to detail and his listening ear helped him to design a kitchen with all the elements I wanted. I also appreciated the timely way he completed the job.
Bryan Pratt was a pleasure to work with. After listening to our ideas of how we wanted our double wide mobile home set on our Lincoln City lot, he put us on his schedule. After setting the mobile, just as we had planned, he went to work putting new siding on the exterior and adding a new deck. Since our permanent residence is in McMinnville, he was in contact with us by phone or came to McMinnville to talk with us each time a decision needed to be made; from where we wanted the exterior light fixtures to be placed, to what pattern the cedar siding should run. If, in the course of the project an unforeseen need arose which was not included in the original bid he was quick to discuss it with us, allowing us to negotiate and make decisions with him. After our project was completed the wind storm of 2008 hit the Oregon coast and Brian was there following up, to check the roof, and replaced a few shingles that had blown off. As it turned out, I was in the mobile home during the storm and I can testify the house did not move. It was a spectacular event!
We would recommend Bryan for your residential construction needs. If we have another project requiring a good contractor we will certainly call Bryan.
My husband and I find Bryan does a proper job when he sets about a project. He works well and we've been very satisfied with the jobs of remodeling that he has completed for us.
We were lucky in that we were able to watch him work on another job before we decided to hire him ourselves. So you would say he came well recommended!
If you need old windows replaced he does an excellent installation. For ourselves, we've been highly pleased with the results of same, and would recommend him to anyone deciding to have more energy efficient windows in their older homes.
He's also done an excellent job of some kitchen cabinet work for us, and all complete in the time allowed for same.
Full of ideas and suggestions if you are wanting a remodel job done anywhere in your home. There's no job he's not willing to tackle in that respect. Also a good personality to work along with.
So, if you are looking for a good building contractor to do some remodeling for you, he's your man!
